Reintroduced as part of the Nike archive collection with contemporary materials and performance features, this amber rise edition of the Nike Blazer ‘77 Shoes have premium suede uppers and crisp leather accents. The hi-top silhouette offers all day comfort and support with inner padding and an exposed foam tongue made from colour matched breathable mesh, whilst ventilation holes on the outer panels increases breathability. Elongated grand purple coloured leather Swoosh ticks can be found on either side of the foot cut from smooth leather with tips that meet around the back of the heel. Above this cut out sections reveal additional leather with bold ‘NIKE’ text printed in white on top. The white rubber outsole features an autoclave finish for a smooth and non-marking surface and the tread has a repeat herringbone pattern for a high level of grip.
Known for its origins within basketball, the Nike Blazer was first introduced in 1973 when the brand was less than a decade old. Whilst the basis of its simple but effective aesthetic has changed very little over time, a variety of colourways and prints have been experimented with to keep the model looking fresh. This season the ‘77 edition features modern performance features than ensure impact support without the loss of the designs retro allure.
